Agua Boa Amazon Lodge

 

The Agua Boa Amazon Lodge is located in the Amazon region of Brazil and the season for fishing is open from mid October through mid April.

 

 

The capacity of the lodge is twelve fishing guests per week and the species that can be fished are peacock bass (temensis, spotted and butterfly), aruana, pirahna, payara, pirarucu, and more.

The Agua Boa lodge is the only "Fly only for peacock bass" operation in the Amazonion region. The river is ideal for flyfishing due to the cristal clear water and the large number of fish.

Fifteen pound peacock are landed daily but 20 pounders are also very possible.

 

 

The standard package is 7day / 8 night

Typically it is two guests per boat with one guide. The highly trained guides are very experienced and you look after your needs. The boats are 20ft aluminium skiffs with poling platforms and four-stroke engines.
